I have a GE Profile refrigerator with an inverter compressor that is not cooling. I watched this video that explains how to diagnose it: Troubleshooting a Warm GE Refrigerator with an Inverter Compressor (GREAT video, by the way!). It says that the voltage from the control board to the inverter should be between 4 and 6 volts.

I have a 2001 gts22 wc GE refrigerator that the compressor has stopped working, I have tested the startup relays on the compressor as well as the compressor for resistance. All of the other fans and evaporator fans seem to be working as well. I seem to think that the problem is the control panel but am not sure.

One of the signs that a compressor is failing is that it runs continuously without the refrigerator and freezer compartments reaching their proper operating temperatures. This condition may be the result of a loss of refrigerant in the system, or the compressor's valves may be failing.
One of the most common causes of a GE refrigerator not cooling properly is a problem with the self-defrosting functions, according to the Appliance Repair It website. If the back of the freezer compartment is covered in more than a very think layer of frost, the evaporator coils are likely frozen, which will cause improper cooling in the unit.
If the refrigerator is not cold enough there might be something caught in the condenser fan motor blade, or the condenser fan motor might be defective. The condenser fan motor draws air over the condenser coils to cool them. The condenser fan motor is located underneath the refrigerator near the back.
Your refrigerator compressor has a cooling fan built into the unit to get rid of the heat generated as refrigerant is transformed from liquid to gas and back again. It takes a lot of mechanical energy to do this. Failure of the cooling fan could be a direct cause of an overheated compressor.
